Excursion Tip La Palma: Acropark Canarias (high ropes course)

Since October 22, 2011, the climbing park "Acropark Canarias" has been open, 400 meters away from the picnic area El Pilar (with a lemur logo reminiscent of the film "Madagascar"). In the shade of high pine trees you can climb from tree trunk to tree trunk in several levels of difficulty and with professional equipment (helmet!) at medium height, balance over wobbly suspension bridges, swing on ropes over wire ropes or lianas or scramble on transversal tree trunks.

Children love to climb

There are three levels of difficulty: the children's course at a height of 1 metre for children up to 80 cm tall, "Junior" at a height of 1.80 to 4 metres (children from 1.20 metres tall and adults) and "Senior" (experienced children and teenagers from 1.40 metres tall and adults). One run takes 40 to 60 minutes. In the "Happy Lemur" offer, you can run as many courses as you want for a special price and within three hours. Those who have tested their climbing skills in this way are well prepared for subsequent hiking tours into the mountains of La Palma - but please not for wild climbing on the eroding lava slopes!

Open: Wed-Sun 10-18 o'clock.
Admission: Children's course 6.50 €, Junior: 14 €, Senior 18 €. A second round of the simplest level is free of charge. Residents, large families, groups and fans on Facebook get a discount.
